LockScribe is an on-device recording and transcription tool. By using it you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Recording responsibly
You are responsible for complying with the recording-consent laws that apply to you and for informing everyone present, every time. The app's record button carries this affirmation and plays an audible announcement; using LockScribe to record people covertly is a violation of these terms.
Your data, your custody
Sessions exist only on your device (and wherever you export them). We cannot recover data from a lost, wiped, or replaced phone. Keeping backups of exported files is your responsibility.
Transcription accuracy
Transcripts and speaker labels are generated by on-device models and can contain errors. Review before relying on them professionally; LockScribe is not a substitute for your judgment or for certified transcription where that is required.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple account and can be cancelled anytime in Settings. Free-trial and renewal handling follow Apple's standard rules.
